Exercising with Elbow Issues

Whether or not your elbow(s) will prevent you from participating in the program depends on the type and extent of your injury or issue.

Elbow injuries like tennis elbow and golfer’s elbow are usually caused by overuse and can often be managed with adequate rest and rehab.

Max Workouts require you to use dumbbells. The amount of weight is your choice, so I recommend you lighten the load to help reduce your elbow pain.

If you can hold onto the dumbbells without difficulty (even if you experience an onset of fatigue quickly), you can still do the program by decreasing your intensity. (Inside the program, I show you how.)

If you have difficulty holding onto dumbbells, even after lightening the load, it's probably best for you to focus on rehab and rest so you can heal before starting Max Workouts.
