Exercising for Your Age

People often ask me if they are "too old" to do Max Workouts. There’s no such thing as being too old!  The Max Workouts program is based on the principle that fitness is based on  intensity as opposed to duration (i.e. quality over quantity).  Being able to give your best effort is the key to getting the most out of the program, no matter your age.

Here's the thing about intensity: It can be increased or decreased based on your current fitness level.  Even though your 100% effort may not look the same as someone who's younger, the positive effects are the same.  That means by doing the program to the best of your abilities, you’ll be able to burn more fat and increase your fitness level, regardless of your age.

There are men and women in their 70’s and 80’s who have done the program.  I'll always meet you where you're at.  Everything in the program is scalable, from the exercises, load, rest intervals, and speed. Any or all of those variables can be adjusted to fit your current abilities.  I want you to do the program at your own pace, and I walk you through how to make adjustments and modifications inside the program.
