Stream the Workouts to Your TV

If you have a smart TV, you can stream all Max Workouts videos to it! You'll need to check to be sure, but if your TV is less than ten years old, it's probably a smart TV.

There are several ways to stream to your TV and I've included instructions for each method, but technology does change. If you are having any trouble and a Google search doesn't help you, please send us a message.

AirPlay

To AirPlay a video to an Apple TV or other AirPlay-capable device:

1. Start playing a video. 
2. Select the AirPlay icon in the bottom-right of the video. The AirPlay icon looks like this: 
3. Select the device you'd like to cast the video to. 

You can also AirPlay videos from the Safari browser on macOS, iOS, and iPadOS. Click the AirPlay icon in the video player and select your preferred device.

Chromecast

To cast a video to a Google Chromecast device, or a device with Chromecast built-in: 

1. Start playing a video. 
2. Select the Chromecast icon in the bottom-right of the video. The Chromecast icon looks like this: 
3. Select the device you'd like to cast the video to.

Amazon Fire TV

Follow this guide from Amazon to stream the videos to your smart TV.

Plug your computer into your TV using an HDMI cord

This way is super easy, and here is a video demo. Simply plug one end of the HDMI cord into your computer and the other end into your TV (note which port you used on your TV, it will be 1 or 2). Using your TV remote, change your "Output" to HDMI 1 or HDMI 2 (whichever port you plugged into). 

Use Your T.V.'s built-in internet browser

You can use the internet browser that's already included with your smart TV (most have one). Once you open the browser, simply navigate to the Max Workouts website and sign in. (Note that on some TVs, you need to select the TV as your source first, then click on the internet icon). Please refer to your TV manual for how to access the internet (they are all different!).

Web Video Cast (for Chromecast & Roku)

Many people are using an app called  Web Video Cast to stream the videos to their smart TV. It works with both Chromecast and Roku.
